Mario’s clean-up day is coming, and to add to the list of things that will be removed at the end of the month, we’ve published Nintendo’s 3DS titles. Disney Academy of Arts, which will be discontinued on March 30.
Nintendo’s Japanese customer support shared this information on Twitter. Any user with access to a digital copy will still be able to download titles from the 3DS eShop after that date. Here’s a Google translation of the tweet below:
“The download version of the Nintendo 3DS “Disney Art Academy” software will be discontinued on March 30, 2021 (Tuesday) at 23:59.”
This seems to apply to other regions as well – with the game page in the UK displaying the following message:
“As of 23:59 (UK time) on March 30, 2021, the Disney Academy of Arts for Nintendo 3DS family systems will no longer be available on the Nintendo eShop.”
Mickey’s departure on March 30 coincides with Mario’s increasingly depressing day. As previously noted, Super Mario 3D All-Stars will be drawn at the end of this month together Super Mario Bros 35 and Game & Watch Super Mario.
Also, Netflix removes the old one Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon series, original Nintendo Super Mario Maker online services are turned off, and other games such as Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & Blade of Light will no longer be available for purchase.
Nintendo of America also issued an earlier reminder to grab the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection before it runs out.
