E3 is almost here! Ahead of the event, the Nintendo Reddit community has been pondering the Japanese company’s big reveal and announcements at the annual convention for years.
With this in mind, it’s now 10 years since Nintendo gave the world a look at the tech demo of “The Legend of Zelda HD” running on an early version of the Wii U. It started in 2011 and was also in line with the original reveal of the next generation of hardware at the time.
This impressive looking video is followed from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and right before the release Legend of Zelda: Sword of Skyward. Mainstream Zelda games that made it to the Wii U in the end include Wind Builder, Twilight Princess and Wild Breath.
E3 2021 is potentially just as exciting this year – with many (ours included) hoping to see a Breath of the Wild sequel. After all, it was Link’s 35th birthday. There were also rumors of the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess returning.
