Star Trek Movies 4K Blu-ray Release Date, Details Revealed

55 years ago, Star Trek boldly go where no one has gone before, and now you can explore all new life and civilization once again with the first four films and original series on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

On September 7, the day before the anniversary of September 8, 1966 premiere Star Trek, Paramount Home Entertainment and CBS Home Entertainment will debut beautiful remastered editions of the first four films, along with a limited edition Steelbook Blu-ray of the full original series.

For the first time you can take the real four Star Trek movies — Star Trek: Moving Pictures, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Quest for Spock, and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home — in 4K Ultra HD. Along with access to digital copies of the theatrical versions of each film, collectors will also find hours of bonus content previously released on disc.

In addition to this collector’s edition, the first four Star Trek movies with available on individual Blu-ray with all the same bonus content. Blu-ray release of Star Trek: Original Series will come in highly collectible Steelbook packaging, and will feature each episode of the series alongside over nine hours of previously released special features, interviews, commentary, documentaries, and more. The Fathom event is also set to commemorate the 55th anniversary Star Trek for special events over two days at select theaters. Additional details will be announced at a later date, but you can expect it Star Trek IV: Travel House to return to select theaters on August 19 and 22.

All of these are new Star Trek release will arrive September 7, 2021.
