Legend of Zelda: Sword of Skyward full of puzzles for players to solve, and there are indeed some to be found in the Skyview Temple, the game’s first dungeon. More specifically, the Temple of Skyview contains three puzzles centered around a strangely moving eye, and the solution may be a little confusing at first. Fortunately, the eye door is confusing Legend of Zelda: Sword of Skyward quite easy to solve with a few instructions, which is exactly what can be found in this guide.
To start with these basics Legend of Zelda puzzles, all solved by making the eyes roll. This is done by moving Link’s swords in large circles clockwise or counterclockwise while standing in plain sight, and they will change from blue to red when they have been turned enough. The difference between these three puzzles is that each has a different number of points, and the player must find a position where they can interact with all of them at the same time.
It’s a very simple thing to do with the eye first entering Sky SwordSkyview Temple, because it only has one eye to turn. Indeed, players only need to stand on this platform right in front of their eyes and rotate Link’s sword in the manner described above to complete the puzzle. This will cause the door under the eye to open, and the fan can pass through it to enter the room containing some Bur and Deku Babas.
Things get a little more complicated with this second puzzle, due to the fact that it consists of two different eyes. However, Legend of Zelda buffs just need to put some distance in the eye to manipulate them at the same time, and the chest will be accessible when the job is done. This chest contains a Little Key, which the player can use to unlock the north door in the main hall of the Skyview Temple.
With regards to the third and final eye door puzzle, it has three eyes and is thus the most complicated of the bunch. To overcome this, the player must climb the grass wall in the room to reach the balcony and then use Sky Sword‘s Beetle to drop the hanging box onto the same platform. Fans must now push this box off the platform, move it in plain sight, and stand on top of it to get all their attention and complete the final puzzle.
