BINGHAMTON, NY — On ‘Caturday’ highlighting its new exhibit, the Roberson Museum & Science Center is hosting a family day all about our feline friends.
Featuring special activities and challenges throughout the museum, children and parents engage in cat-themed science, arts, engineering and crafts, projects and demonstrations.
Museum visitors also explore new exhibits about how cats have influenced our homes, art and culture, many of which have a local touch.
Anne Glasgow, Education Coordinator, said it was great to have this great event again at the museum.
“I think we’re really excited to be open again, back working hard, and with a really fun exhibition. So it really has something for everyone,” Glasgow said.
The cat exhibit will remain open to visitors for the rest of the year.
Submissions are closed, but you can now view video slideshows of submitted cat videos from people in the community on the projector at the museum exhibit.
Glasgow said there was still room at Roberson’s summer camp which lasted all summer and they would have another family day at the museum on August 28.
