Another week has passed, with plenty of Nintendo-related news to keep us intrigued. There’s our reviews for games like The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and NEO: The World Ends With You, Streets of Rage 4 DLC finally arrives on Switch, Monster Hunter Rise gets awesome Okami-themed DLC, and Nintendo says it’s absolutely unforgettable about Animal Crossing: New Horizons; yes there is also a new game for Switch Online. There are some lighter moments as well, including an attempt by one StreetPass fan to get hits in New York, and some rather odd box art for Super Meat Boy.
There’s a lot going on, so it’s time to relax and discussing our weekend game plans. few mthe Nintendo Life team has already done just that below, so feel free to read our entry and then join yours via our comments section. Enjoy!

Like, I think, a lot of other people I’ll be spending quite a bit of time with The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles this week; I finished the first chapter and it’s been fantastic so far. I still have a long way to go in Skyward Sword HD so I’ll give it a try, and I’ll also jump back into Monster Hunter Rise for Okami-themed content.
On other system I will try Climbing, if I can find the time!

This week I’ve played a ton of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles! I know I’ve reviewed it, but I’m walking more leisurely through cases now that I don’t have a deadline. Also, a lot of Minecraft — I just joined a friend’s server which was SO LUXURY AND COOL I had to build a house direct to make sure I can stay there forever.

OBJECT! Capcom, how can I play The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles when you fail to deliver a physical edition to European audiences? I shake my head at you like the great Herlock Sholmes. At least Samurai Warriors 5, NEO: The World Ends With You and the recent arrival of the physical edition West of Dead: Path of the Crow will definitely keep me busier in front of the almighty Switch.
Game of the week is an absolutely perfect conversion of Skydrift Infinity, not only to give all the air racing arcade thrills but to make me yearn for new ones pilot wing get to the bottom of the line.

I’m giving up on Skyward Sword, guys… Look, I’m not proud of that, but I’ve been out with my holibob this weekend, and I wanted to spend my time playing some familiar comforts. I’ve booted Super Mario Sunshine again (because it looks like the real sun has said goodbye for now!), and I’ve restarted the awesome Celeste.
When I return home, I will start The Ascent in Series X, and will also explore the world with Microsoft Flight Simulator. And no, I’m not at all upset by the first tech preview Hello Unlimited started right when I left for my vacation..!

I’ve made it a trend to beat all Zelda Switch games 100% (aside from Hyrule Warriors games because I’m not mad) that left Skyward Sword. I recently hit the credits but I have a few more heart containers and a few side quests before I can actually call it done. It’s great to revisit this one, I’ve always appreciated certain aspects of it but I’ve never had a game this enjoyable.
Zelda made me hold off on diving into Ace Attorney or Neo The World Ends With You so I’ll be picking up one of these right away, likely starting with the last one… although with Flight Simulator & Halo Infinite Preview just hitting the Xbox it’s going to be pretty magic. Too many games!

This weekend I plan to play more of Blaster Master Zero 3. I loved the first two entries, and especially appreciated how simple they were to complete. Also, I recently bought Creature in the Well on sale and I’m really curious to see how it plays out!
Otherwise, I recently started another game of Metroid: Samus Returns, and will likely try to finish it this weekend as well. I know some don’t like the entry because it’s too linear, but I think MercurySteam did a great job with it and I can’t wait to see how they handle Metroid Dread.
As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your game choices over the next few days…
