Pokemon Go once again gearing up for the summer special, and the regular Spotlight Hours are still going on. The last one in June focused on Aipom, with the chance to catch a shiny version of Pokemon. Read on to find out when the July 2021 Spotlight Hour will be in Pokemon Go.
What time is the Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour July 2021?
Highlight Hours are from 18:00 to 19:00 local time, meaning there is always a chance to catch something rare at that time.
Of course, Spotlight Hours don’t happen every day. They are often weekly events that take place on a specific day. Niantic has yet to reveal what day the July clock will arrive, but this article will be updated with new information as it becomes known.
With the same time regardless of time zone, it means players don’t need to be out at dawn to take advantage of the event. 6-7pm should be a good hour for most players.
We can use the Spotlight Hours of June 2021 as a good guess at when it will happen in July. They occur every Tuesday, usually with a different Pokemon in focus. At that hour, they’re the only things you’ll encounter in the world, which makes it a great time to catch lots and upgrade Candies.
We’re not sure which Pokemon will appear at Spotlight Hours in July. However, Niantic calls July the month of Bidoof. You can almost guarantee that an adorable Normal-type Pokemon will appear in one of the Spotlight Hours. Other Pokemon that got the spotlight in June include Dwebble, Abra, and Slowpoke. You can expect another relatively common Pokemon to appear – and again, don’t rule out a Bidoof takeover.
In other news, the Black Widow review went live today, but social media impressions are already out there. Aquaman 2 director James Wan may also have hinted at the film’s upcoming villain.
